Land

 

The college campus is spread on over 3439 Sq. mts. of exclusive well demarcated land area amidst lush green surroundings in a very peaceful area having wonderful scenic beauty. The land has been registered by the college in its own name.

College Building

 

The college building (Ground + 3 floors) has a total built up area of 4535.70 Sq. mts. and houses all the facilities required for B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. courses.

 

The college building has Class Rooms, Library-cum-Reading Room, Multipurpose Hall, Curriculum Lab, ICT Resource Centre, Art and Craft Resource Centre, Health and Physical Education Resource Centre,  Principal Office, Staff Room, Administrative Office, Visitors Room, Separate Boys and Girls Common Room, Seminar Room, etc. under one roof.

 

In addition, the college provides facilities such as Canteen, Drinking water, Electricity, Internet, Xerox facilities, Wi-Fi campus, Separate Boys, Girls and Staff Wash Room. 

 

Offices

 

Seperate office spaces has been alloted for the Secretary, Principal, HOD, Accounts, Administration along with a Staff Room.

Library-cum-Reading Room

 

Our college library has more than 5000+ books (1000+ titles) covering the entire syllabus of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses along with subscription to a number of educational journals, newspapers and magazines. The library reading room has a seating capacity of 100 students. Library cards are issued to all the students which is valid till the completion of the course. Photocopy facility has also been provided in the library.

 ICT Resource Centre

ICT Resource Centre has a seating capacity of 40 students and is equipped with 20 computer systems plus a computer system for the instructor, 55" Television system, printer, high speed fibre based internet connection, etc.

Our college also has smart classroom to comfortably accomodate 50 students and it is equipped with a touch enabled android smart board where teacher can teach with a stylus pen and the content can be shared electronically with the students as notes.

Class Rooms

 

Class rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, lighted and well furnished to make the students learning comfortable and enjoyable.

 

There are 9 classroms each with an area of 500+ Sq. ft. to comfortably accomodate 50 students in each class. In addition to it there are multiple class rooms dedicated for method teaching and seperate common room for male and  female students.

Health and Physical Resource Centre has indoor recreational facilities like Table Tennis, Carrom, etc along with equipments for outdoor sports like Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, etc for students.

  • 4 Rain water harvesting pits have been made in the college campus to collect the rain water and recharge the groundwater level.

Waste Management

 

College has defined a policy for Waste management.

  • Waste is segregated (dry waste and wet waste) at source through waste segregation dustbin kept in the campus.
  • e-Waste like LED bulbs, battries, CD's, USB drives, damaged computer parts or any other electric equipment are collected in a seperate e-waste dustbin.
  • Medical wastes in the First Aid Room are also collected in the seperate dustbin.
  • Glassware and chemical wastes generated from the curriculum lab are also collected in seperate dustbins.
  • College tries to maintain a plastic free campus by discouraging the use of single use plastic items like disposable plastics bottles, plastics straws, plastics spoons or forks, etc.
  • Sewer wastes are collected in the septic tank anaerobic digestion process of sewage waste.

Environment Management

 

College has defined a policy for Environment management.

  • College encourages its students and staff to use bicycles, e-vehicles, carpooling or public transport facilties to commute to college. Dedicated Parking faciliy has been provided for bicycles and e-vehicles to encourge its use.
  • 4 Rain water harvesting pits have been made in the college campus to collect the rain water and recharge the groundwater level.
  • Tress and plants have been planted along the campus boundaries for a green and clean campus.
  • College uses a college management software (CMS) to promote paperless office. Notices and circulars are also sent via Whatsapp or email to reduce the wastage of paper.
  • Pedestrian friendly roads and wheel chair ramps have been built to encourage the staff and students to walk within the campus and also make the institute accessible for the differently abled.
  • Push type taps have been installed in the campus to reduce the wastage of water.
