NCTE Recognition:
Maharshi Paramhansh College of Education has been granted recognition for conducting D.El.Ed. programme of two years duration with an annual intake of 150 (3 units) students as per NCTE Order No. F.No.ER-213.6(i).158/ERCAPP4132/D.El.Ed./2016/46106 dated 02/05/2016 and NCTE Order No. F.No.ER-239.6.14(Part-1)/ID No.-11395/D.El.Ed. (Addl. Intake)/2017/52763 dated 02/05/2017 and NCTE Order No. F.No.ER-260.12.5/ERCAPP4132/D.El.Ed./2018/57873 dated 11/09/2018.
Duration:
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is a two year professional programme of teacher education. It aims to prepare teachers for the elementary stage of education, i.e. classes I to VIII.
Working Days:
There will be at least 200 working days each year exclusive of the period of examination and admission.
Eligibility criteria for students:
Candidates with at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.
The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Centre Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.
Fees:
Rs. 1,00,000/- for 2 years (payable in installements)
Class Attendance:
Each D.El.Ed. student must attend 80% of all course work and practicum, and 90% of school internship. Students who fail to attend 80% of classes organized by the college will not be allowed to fill-up the form for final University examination. All students must participate in all co-curricular activities organized by the college.
