B.Ed. Course
NCTE Recognition:
Maharshi Paramhansh College of Education has been granted recognition for conducting B.Ed. programme of two years duration with an annual intake of 100 (2 units) students as per NCTE Order No. F.ERC/NCTE/ERCAPP523/B.Ed(Revised Order)/2015/32333 dated 28/05/2015.
Duration:
The B.Ed. course is of two academic years. There will be at least 200 working days each year exclusive of the period of examination and admission.
Eligibility criteria for students:
(a) Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
(b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/ State Government, whichever is applicable.
Fees:
General/OBC: Rs. 1,40,000/- for 2 years (payable in installements)
SC/ST : Rs. 1,30,000/- for 2 years (payable in installements)
Class Attendance:
Each B.Ed. student must attend 80% of all course work and practicum, and 90% of school internshiop. Students who fail to attend 80% of classes organized by the college will not be allowed to fill-up the form for final University examination. All students must participate in all co-curricular activities organized by the college.
